Hypnobirthing

“How you approach birth is intimately connected with how you approach life.” William Sears

Of all the qualifications that Aneesh holds, she feels that being a KG Hypnobirthing Teacher is the deepest expression of her work. She has always believed that the first experience that a child has of the outside world can truly shape their perception of the world and their role and place in it. With that in mind Aneesh trained to become a KG Hypnobirthing Teacher as she felt that the empowerment of parents to have the informed birth that they consciously choose will be integral to the development of their child and their relationship as a family unit. Which in turn can support the child in creating a positive concept of life.

She says, ‘ I feel that a good hypnobirthing teacher is one who creates a strong rapport with their parents. Who has the skills to listen to and observe the needs of the family unit whilst guiding them to their own unique innate inner guidance of what is best for the birth of their child. This in turn can awaken their own empowerment that nature instilled in all mammals to enact & enjoy the miracle of the birth process and to want to procreate the species. ‘

Aneesh feels that the role of the father, other parent or birthing partner is of paramount importance for creating the link with the midwife and medical team. In effect they become the advocate to liaise with all parties and ensure that everyone is heard; leaving space and energy for the mother, who can then focus on and work with the signals of both her and the baby’s body.

Her courses, be they one to one or in a group training are informative, interactive and fun. Aneesh feels that Hypnobirthing is an approach that can enable parents to experience a birth which is uniquely natural.
